MULTAN: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday sought reply from the provincial government on a petition alleging that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was using the Punjab Youth Festival for political gains. The court has sought a reply within seven days from MNA Hamza Shahbaz and seven administrative officials. Former Multan district lady councilor Rabia Tahir Chaudhry has filed the petition saying that political symbols were openly used at the festival.  She said the PML-N candidates were also using the youth festival for their campaigns for local government elections.
