Raid: Alleged terrorist killed in Karachi

KARACHI: An alleged terrorist was killed in an alleged encounter with the paramilitary force in Karachi’s Manghopir locality on Tuesday night. Officials claimed that deceased militant’s involvement cannot be ruled out in Tuesday’s bombings. According to Rangers spokesperson, Rangers conducted an intelligence driven targeted raid on terrorist hideout in Khairabad area of Manghopir. On seeing security officials, the terrorist resorted to indiscriminate firing, raiding Rangers troops fired back killing one alleged terrorist, namely Zohaib. “We have also recovered a SMG from his possession along with explosives and other materials for making IEDs,” said the spokesperson. “His involvement in today’s IED blast cannot be ruled out while further investigations are underway.”
