Amplifier Act: Six prayer leaders booked

Leaders charged for using loud speakers in violation of the Amplifier Act.

FAISALABAD: Police on Sunday registered cases against six prayer leaders on charge of using loud speakers in violation of the Amplifier Act. A police spokesman said that cases had been registered against Maulvi Muraad and Maulana Iftikharul Hasan of Millat Town’s Block-Y, Qari Faiz Rasool of Chak 214-RB, Qari Farhan Qadri and Qari Mehmood Hussain of Chak 31-JB and Maulana Abdur Rehman of Chak 283-GB. No one was arrested.
