Attacking MNA’s family: 11 jailed, 6 sent on physical remand

GUJRANWALA: A court on Saturday sent 11 people to jail and handed over six others to the police in a physical remand for attack on an MNA and his family two days ago. The men had attacked Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir and his family. They were presented before Judicial Magistrate Shafqat Saeed Gondal. According to the prosecution, the minister and his family were at a restaurant when some men started taking their photographs. When they were stopped, the men started throwing plates and glasses at the family. The minister’s son was injured. Police were called and 17 men, including some restaurant employees, were arrested.
