Spurious drugs: 3 factory employees sent for remand

Divisional Drug Court Judge ordered physical remand for the employees of a factory involved in making drugs.

GUJRANWALA: Divisional Drug Court Judge Sardar Aashiq Hussain Baloch on Wednesday ordered physical remand for the employees of a factory involved in manufacturing spurious drugs worth billions of rupees.

According to the prosecution, a Health Department team had raided a factory in Haranwala, Gujrat and arrested employees Muhammad Yousaf, his son Muhammad Waqar and nephew Muhammad Ikram. The owner of the factory, Laeq Ahmad Khan, escaped. The court has sent the suspects on physical remand until December 23.
