Round-up: Hubba hubba!

Marhaba, ladies! Today, we have handpicked a bevy of silver screen beauties who looked oh-so-glamorous at the 13th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival. While some looked ravishing in monochrome gowns, others took our breath away with their exotic, printed ensembles. These leading ladies of cinema epitomised Morocco’s richness and regality.

Marion Cotillard



French actor Marion Cotillard looked nothing less than exquisite. She reigned over the festival with her unparalleled grace. She sported a beautiful Christian Dior multi-coloured stripe pocket dress to the opening ceremony of the event. We love the side-swept hairdo, and her black-lined eyes and pale lips elevated her look. Parfait!

Deepika Padukone



Indian actor Deepika Padukone is becoming our round-up staple. Not only has she had a spectacular year in films, but also dazzled on the red carpet at multiple events. With her film Ram-Leela opening the festival this year, she was bound to be dressed to impress. Clad in a gorgeous mustard gown, Padukone looked elegant. The dress complemented her golden skin tone. She accessorised with traditional jhumkas. Her signature backcombed up-do spruced up her look. With eyes lined in tones of brown, rosy cheeks and glossy lips, she looked glamorous head-to-toe.

Patricia Clarkson



American actor Patricia Clarkson donned a black embellished round neck sleeveless gown, which emphasised her slender figure. With her hair tied neatly in a bun, red lips and black pointed pumps, she looked chic and sophisticated. She played it safe with the ubiquitous black-and-red combo, but she looked elegant nonetheless. 

Sarah Barzyk Aubrey



Looks like the French dominated the festival with their uber chic ensembles! French actor Sarah Barzyk Aubrey sizzled on the red carpet in a beautiful peach and black lace gown. She kept the make-up and accessories to a bare minimum, which put the spotlight on her striking dress. Her side-swept loose waves are to die for! We think that she could have easily done away with the clutch though.

Noomi Rapace



Does she look gorgeous or does she look gorgeous? Swedish actor Noomi Rapace looked red-hot on the red carpet in Elie Saab Couture. She tied her hair in a neat side-parted bun. With dark eyes and nude lips, she looked nothing less than stunning. We like the fact that she only wore a dull gold ring — her dramatic dress was enough to steal the show!
