Remembrance: Data Ganj Bukhsh urs celebrations to start on Dec 22

Finance Minister Dar presides over meeting to review arrangements of 970th urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bukhsh on Dec 22.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday presided over a meeting to review arrangements of the 970th urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bukhsh on December 22.

Auqaf Secretary Muhammad Saqib briefed the meeting about the arrangements made by the provincial government. He said Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar had donated two state-of-the-art water filtration plants with a capacity of 250,000 litres each to cater to the needs of the pilgrims. The meeting also approved the schedule of the events of the urs. According to the schedule, the urs would be held between December 22 and December 24.
