A special selection board headed by Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Professor Anjum Habib Vohra has been constituted for recruitment at the PGMI against 33 vacant posts of professors, associate professors and assistant professors on ad-hoc basis.
The selection board consists of the health services director and a professor from each department.
As many as 143 candidates have applied for four posts of professor (grade 20), eight posts of associate professor (grade 19) and 21 posts of assistant professor (grade 18).
The candidates will be interviewed between December 17 and December 20 at the PGMI premises.
Professor Vohra said the posts would be filled on merit in accordance.He said service structure reforms were very important to the government. He said recruitment for the vacant posts would be transparent. He said no negligence during the recruitment period would be tolerated.
