Addressing complexities: Abro’s book on Sindh launched
Adha Sadee-a Jo Oajao [Restlessness of a Half Century] has been published in Sindhi.

Noted literary figure Anwer Abro’s new book in Sindhi, titled Adha Sadee-a Jo Oajao [Restlessness of a Half Century], has been published. It comprises selected articles written on literature, social, environmental, academic, behavioural and international issues for various Sindhi newspapers and periodicals. The floods of 2010 and heavy rains in 2011 suffered by the people of Sindh and the damage caused by these disasters are covered in the book. Sindhi society’s changing complexities have also been discussed along with the Kuwait- Iraq war, Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Arab Spring, murder of Colonel Gaddafi, death of Hugo Chavez and the hanging of Afzal Guru. The book has been published by Kachho Publications, Karachi.
