Crime against women: Report sought in acid attack case

According to press reports, Ilyas Mahmood, resident of Chishtia had thrown acid at a girl.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Saturday took notice of an acid attack case and directed the Toba Tek Singh district and sessions judge to probe the matter and submit a detailed report in this regard. According to press reports, Ilyas Mahmood, resident of Chishtia had thrown acid at a girl. He was allegedly paid by Muhammad Anwar of Shorkot to attack the girl over a property dispute with her father.
