Corruption: Man sued for impersonation

The petitioner, in his compliance petition, said he was not entertained by the concerned authorities.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Anti-Corruption Establishment director general on a complaint against a man accused of impersonating a district magistrate. Petitioner Syed Danish said Shehzad Iqbal Qureshi was a grade-14 public servant in Data Ganj Bakhsh Town. He said the name plate at his house said he was a district magistrate. He said Qureshi had been demoted from grade 16 on account of corruption. He said personal staff officer to DCO Tariq Zaman was protecting Qureshi.  He said complaints against them at Sabzazar police station and other police against them examined.  The court on June 6, 2013 had directed the petitioner to approach the Anti-Corruption Establishment. The petitioner, in his compliance petition, said he was not entertained by the concerned authorities.
