LAHORE: Three suspected target killers were handed over to the Karachi Crimes Investigation Department on Saturday, four days after they were detained by Military Intelligence officials, The Express Tribune has learnt.
Sources said the three suspects were members of the ‘Mullah Group’ and wanted for several cases. The suspects were identified as Nadeemullah, a leader of the group, Tariq and Faheem.
They had come to Lahore with Tableeghi Jamat pilgrims heading for the Raiwind Ijtima, the source said. They were arrested by intelligence agency officials near Thokar Niaz Beg four days ago. The Karachi CID had tipped off the MI about their presence in Lahore, having tracked their cell phones.

These criminals cannot escape so long as the Government has the resolve to apprehend, arrest and punish them... In the past, most of them used to get scot-free because of political patronage from PPP (Amn Committee), ANP (qabzamafia) and MQM (na-Maloom afraad). Despite all wranglings from TTPPTI, PMLN is working sincerely for the betterment of Pakistan.
