Mishap: One killed on road

A man was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle on the Islamabad Expressway near Zia Masjid.

ISLAMABAD: A man was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle on the Islamabad Expressway near Zia Masjid on Saturday. Haris Hussain lodged a report with the local police that his son was at Amjad Hussain Shah Bus Stop when the vehicle (GT-981), driven by Adnan, hit him and fled. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he died. The police registered a case against the driver but have not arrested him yet.
