Medical sciences: UHS gets its first pro-vice chancellor

The Health Department issues a notification in this regard on Wednesday.

LAHORE: Professor Junaid Sarfraz Khan has been appointed as the first pro-vice chancellor of the University of Health Sciences (UHS). The Health Department issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday. Khan has served as a professor and controller of examinations at the university. He graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College in 1997 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, UK, and of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He was recently awarded a medical education doctorate by the UHS.
