The township shares a border with the Jalk district of Iranian Balochistan.
Assistant Commissioner Asghar Siapad said he has informed the provincial home department about the border violation.
Dozens of people participated in the procession and chanted slogans against Iran for the attacks. “Border violations by Iran have become norm in Mashkail. A mosque was partially damaged in the attack,” Mir Noor Mohammed, one of the protesters, told The Express Tribune.
Most of the shops in the town remained closed for several hours as people joined the rally.
“A couple of years ago, two women and man died due to the mortars fired by Iranian guards. Pakistan should take action and take up the issue with Iran,” Jiaend Khan, an elder of the area said.
After marching on the main road, the protesters held a sit-in in front of the Assistant Commissioner Office and Frontier Corps (FC) camp to lodge their protest. The protesters dispersed after officials assured them that Pakistan will take up the issue with Iran.
A few days ago, Iran’s helicopter had also violated Pakistan airspace. “We have spoken to Iran’s local administration but they have denied any involvement,” said Asghar Siapad, Assistant Commissioner of Mashkail.
The Iranian authorities have claimed that their forces are taking action against narcotic dealers, human trafficking, and drug pushers and whenever they get a chance they push the people across the Iranian border.

I See 42 Indian Trolls here. I wonder who is voting for Pak domestic opinion on the right column. Statisticians shield add that factor into the math. Because when they do a survey of Pak public opinion....they are actually misled by the votes of habitual foreign trolls.
@Bakhtiyar Ghazi Khan I don’t care what you think of me at the end of the day we are all slave's of that Almighty "Rab ul Aalameen" which includes Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews, all majorities and minorities etc..
I think it makes you feel good when you use the word puppet..puppet so i let you use it i wouldn’t mind now, I believe you may have experienced something extreme and you use it to feel better so i let you exercise your freedom and feel good.
Now coming back to the subject of Pashtoons you must know that we Afghans paid the ultimate price for the sake of Pashtuns and Pashtoonistan and as for as Pashtoons inside Afghanistan are concerned, I can remind you that we can take care of our people very well just mind your own business go and protect your own people we don’t need your worries find a better HOBBY for yourself cause you are not welcomed to write negative comments about Afghanistan at all!
@Fareed: I don't believe for a second that you are an Afghan. Your past posts prove otherwise. You are an Indian Hindu, I am sure of it.
I really don't care if you agree with me or not. Being a Pukhtoon, I have every right to speak up for my people if they are being brutalized in Afghanistan and Pakistan by the US-puppet Afghan regime. I love all my Pakistani brothers, including Baloch, Punjab, Sindh, Kashmir, etc. I don't need any justification to support my Baloch blood brothers either.
If you hate Pakistan so much, then how about you stop posting here. You aren't going to convince any Pakistani of your propaganda. Find a better hobby, and don't use Allah's name.
@Bakhtiyar Ghazi Khan Again you got it wrong I am Afghan and neither you can label us puppet nor we have attacked pashtoon towns in Pakistan or Afghanistan. Indeed it was Afghanistan's Kunar and Nooristan provinces which were hit by rockets and you exactly now that story!
Also let me friendly remind you that Afghanistan has never been a puppet state and that is why we are still paying the price, had we accepted that kind of relationship we would have a developed country but no regrets. Before accusing other countries my friend it is better look at where you stand and if Afghanistan and India has friendly relationship and you call it puppet then Pakistan has more friendly relations with Saudi, Chinna and UAE as well as USA and UK, could you please define these relationships?
You said one thing right, as a Muslim we will see that Allah will judge all of us for what we do and i believe we see the consequences of our actions in this world and hereafter. Allahu Akbar.
@objective observer, Fareed: You Indians claim to support Baloch people, and yet when Iran is bombing their homes, you are silent. When Baloch towns are suffering due to earthquakes and humanitarian disaster, you criticize those who want to help them.
Why are you silent when Afghan's puppet army attacks Pukhtoon towns in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Where is your Kashmir, when you fire rockets at Kashmiri towns killing women and children in Azad Kashmir?
Hypocrites all of you. You are the worse human beings that ever existed, lacking all civility and human decency. Shame on you all. Know that God will judge everyone after death.
Looks like Iran is looking for strategic depth inside Balochistan.
@Bakhtiyar Ghazi Khan Typical Pakistani crying and blaming others for their shortcomings!
For the record, Baloch separatists aka BLA consider both Iran and Pakistan as their enemy. What they did to Ziarat Residency earlier this year is not something that anyone would forget.
Just notices something - Pakistanis have problems with vowels (A E I O U types). India, England, USA, Afghanistan, Iran . . .
@Bakhtiyar Ghazi Khan:
Oh Iran, what would it do without Pakistan. LOL. By the way did they agree to build your side of the pipeline for you yet?
We are with our Baloch brothers. Pakistan stands with you. I hope Pakistan sends a strict warning to Iran. It is not ok to fire into Baloch towns. If you have a problem, then contact the Pakistani government and jointly deal with the problem. Puppet Afghanistan soldiers also firing on Pukhtoon civilians on Pakistani side from across the border. Don't use the Israel and Indian logic of attacking civilians, it won't work.
Iran is in no condition to further deteriorate ties with the only Sunni Muslim nation which has friendly ties with it. Take heed and correct your behavior.
@Jag Nathan: That is called "Strategic Location", a location from where you launch "Strategic Assets" or "Satanic Assets", whatever it is, on all sides, be it India, Afghanistan, Iran or China? Pakistan ka mathlab Kya? Jihad, Jurm aur Jung ........ Hai Allah !!!!!!
Border violation is usually associated with walking/flying across border without permission - artillery attack is a whole different animal.
@Khan: It’s about time for our KHAN brothers to realize better to get rid of bad habits such as kidnapping, blackmailing, drug/narcotics business, eating your own people’s body n soul. Their so called Sardar’s needs to come into senses, we hope they will straighten themselves or maybe they need AMERICAN kick their …!
So now Pakistan has problems on its western border with brotherly Muslim country Iran. They have issues with the border in the North and East. India's blue water navy would blockade their southern border should hostilities break out. So it has now come to pass that there are no borders that could be called as peaceful any longer. This sounds really great.
@Raja: you missed china
RAW behind this
look like after USA, pak can't even reply to iran. everyone has teh right to kill pakistani citizen
@AJ Khan...........BLA are not terrorist....they are martyrs..just like how kashmiri terrorist are martyrs
Pakistan becomes the headache of India,afghanistan and now iran.
