FAISALABAD: “The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has started renovating and beautifying greenbelts around Gattwala Canal Road,” Managing Director Ashiq Hussain Dogar said on Tuesday. During a visit to the Canal Road, Dogar said both sides of the road from Abdullahpur Chowk to Gattwala Chowk would be redesigned. For this, he said, the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa), the Solid Waste Department and the tehsil municipal administration would help PHA. The PHA managing director said the students of University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s Department of Horticulture and Floriculture would design the greenbelts. “They will complete the task in consultation with PHA’s Lahore staff,” he added.
