Airlines carry 2.18m passengers

Traffic on Cathay Pacific and Dragonair went up to 2.18 million passengers during September, marking an increase of 18.4 per cent compared with figures for the same month last year.
Meanwhile, combined figures released by Cathay also show that the amount of cargo and mail carried by the airlines also went up. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 146,152 tons of cargo and mail last month.
