Fashion Police: Ballerina done wrong

Seems like Hollywood actor Sarah Jessica Parker turned up for the premiere of her new docu-series, city.ballet., in New York, dressed to un-impress. Here is what she got wrong:

Hair & make-up

While her ombre hair gets an approval from us, we are struggling with defining her make-up. Her skin looks pruned and wrinkly, while her lips look parched — we are sure bad make-up has more to do with it than ageing. We are so disappointed because the Sex and the City star is considered a style icon. You shouldn’t have done this, Sarah!

Outfit

Let’s get serious — what on earth is that outfit supposed to be? It looks like a clear case of ‘I didn’t know what to wear, so I just gathered everything and put it on’. That pink midi dress looks totally off with those sheer black tights. Sarah killed that sexy jacket by pairing it with this unbecoming dress.

Accessories and shoes

The pointed teal pumps and the chain strap bag are hot on their own. However, we disprove of that necklace, which doesn’t really add anything to the look.

Sonam Kapoor



Hey, midi dresses don’t look as bad now, do they? Sonam looked like a doll at a soiree at the Cannes Film Festival 2013. We love the sparkly box clutch and those ankle strap pink pumps — stunning!

Sophie Ellis Boxtor



The English singer looks fab in this tea-pink midi dress at a party in London. She paired the outfit with a brown skinny belt and golden pumps. Overall, this look is a winner!

Sienna Miller



The queen of boho-chic rocked this cutesy attire, featuring sparkly flower detailing, a cinched-in waist and a cute high neckline. We love the shade of baby pink, and the shiny outfit doesn’t seem to overcast her gleam.
