Khalid Hussain cruised into the second round of the inaugural Sindh Archive Trophy Ranking Tennis Championship as he outclassed Sheikh Tehseen 6-1, 6-0 in the opening match of the men’s singles competition at the Bath Island Club yesterday.
In other matches, Maheen Dada defeated Komail Ibne Hashim 6-0, 6-0 in the U17 qualifying round, while Zubair Raja also registered a win against Zayaan Veqar 6-1, 6-2 in the U15 first round.
Zubair also outplayed Saamir Shamsie 6-2, 6-0 in the U13 singles first-round match whereas Affan Jawwad defeated Asheesh Kumar 6-2, 6-4.
