Blasphemy case: Arrest warrant issued for SP

The court had summoned Bukhari to record his statement but he did not turn up.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday ordered the arrest of City Division SP Syed Ameen Bukhari by November 21 in Sawan Masih’s case. Masih is accused of blasphemy. The court had summoned Bukhari to record his statement but he did not turn up. The CCPO has now been directed to produce him before the court. The blasphemy report was followed by Joseph Colony arson attack.
