The Hindu Panchayat of Larkana and Qambar-Shahdadkot has asked authorities to complete all pending development projects.

In an application addressed to MNA Faryal Talpur, the Panchayat’s secretary-general Lokchand G Jung claimed that nine projects have not been completed.

His application was handed over to the commissioner, Dr Saeed Mangnejo. The building of government schools were completed, while the furniture is lying idle, the secretary-general pointed out, adding that the drainage and roads network were only 40 per cent completed. He also demanded gas connections that have already been sanctioned.

The previous government had approved a scheme to establish green belts around Naundero from Sukkur Bypass Railway Crossing to Naundero Sugar Mills on both sides, he said, demanding the work should start right away.
