Protest: AWP calls for land reforms

LAHORE: The Awami Workers Party on Monday held a protest demonstration against big landed estates and in favour of effective land reforms.

The protest included a march toward Charring Cross to raise awareness regarding the party’s land reforms petition which is pending in the Supreme Court. Hundreds of AWP activists were joined by representatives of the Anjuman Mazareen Punjab, National Students Federation, Pakistan Trade Union Federation, National Trade Union Federation and a host of other organisations.
