This or that?: Diwali divas

Bollywood actors Prachi Desai and Dia Mirza looked smoking hot when they donned the traditional sari on the occasion of Diwali.

Prachi Desai



Hair & make-up

Prachi’s high updo is a win for this look — we are in love with her silky locks. She smiled through the event, looking uber pretty with that light make-up on. Her peach lips, dewy skin and carefully-lined eyes get extra points.

Outfit

The actor wore a creme-coloured sari paired with a heavily-embellished golden sleeveless blouse. The colourful appliqués in orange, yellow and lime livened up her outfit. She is definitely our pick for the day!

Accessories & shoes

The stunner sported a gorgeous pair of gold jhumkas and carried a golden box clutch. 

Dia Mirza



Hair & make-up

Dia certainly doesn’t need make-up. She arrived at the event in a barely there look. We love her million dollar smile, kohl-rimmed eyes and that glossy pout.

We love the side-parted old-fashioned hairdo and that hot pink bindi, which adds the right amount of oomph to her look.

Outfit

The former Miss Asia-Pacific shined in this plum and blue organza sari, with a halter neck blouse.

Accessories & shoes

Dia wore a pair of heavy gold jhumkas, which looked splendid. However, we do not quite approve of the multi-colour beaded box clutch.
