ABBOTTABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said terrorism will continue to haunt people unless the Americans left the region. Speaking to the media at Abbottabad Press Club on Sunday, he said with American intervention in the region every effort for peace would fail. “The killing of Hakimullah Mehsud in a drone attack at a time when the government has just initiated the peace process is a case in point,” he said. Professor Khan said the drone attack aimed at TTP’s chief has harmed the negotiation efforts and that it was a deliberate attempt to derail the process. He also accused the government and military leadership of being obedient to the Americans, adding that they must get out of the clutches of the US.
