LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge has sought comments from the Yakki Gate SHO for October 31 on a petition filed by a nurse against two colleagues for allegedly mocking her religion and making death threats.

Petitioner Shaista Qaisar submitted that she worked at Nawaz Shairf Hospital in Yakki Gate where two sisters, Zaibun Nisa and Robina, would taunt her and make fun of her religion.

The petitioner said the two had complained about her to the hospital management, but an inquiry had cleared her of any wrongdoing. She said that they were now threatening to kill her if she did not quit the job.

Qaisar said that she had approached the SHO to lodge a complaint, but he had refused. She sough a case against the sisters for mocking her faith and threatening her.
