Crime: Man robbed; car lifted

The separate incidents took place in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station.

ISLAMABAD: A man was robbed and a car lifted in separate incidents in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station on Monday. In the first incident, Muhammad Umer lodged a complaint with the local police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted him in Sector I-10/4 and snatched a laptop computer, a mobile phone and cash from him at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Shahid Iqbal lodged a complaint with the same police that auto-thieves have stolen his Suzuki Mehran (AC-395) from a parking lot in Sector I-11/4. The police registered separate cases against them under the relevant laws and investigations are underway.
