RAWALPINDI: A butcher died after hitting his own throat with a knife he was using to slaughter a sacrificial animal in Babu Lal Hussain Road in Rawalpindi on Wednesday. According to reports, as soon as the animal was laid on its back and the butcher settled in to perform the ritual, it violently sprang back, causing the butcher to slit his own neck. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained.
