Lahore Transport Company: Bus companies told to follow schedule

Enforcement staff were directed to ensure that no one was overcharging passengers and buses were running on time.

LAHORE: The Lahore Transport Company has instructed public transporters to make sure they follow the operation schedule for Sundays and gazetted holidays during the Eid holidays. At a meeting with enforcement and operations staff on Monday, LTC Chief Executive Officer Khawaja Haider Latif said that private bus operators running vehicles on high occupancy and low occupancy urban routes must maintain their operations as stated in the LTC plan for public holidays. Latif also directed enforcement staff to check public service vehicles on the designated routes to make sure that no one was overcharging passengers, buses were running on time, and routes and stops were kept clean.
