KARACHI: Wapda reinforced its lead at the top of the Pakistan Premier League after a narrow 1-0 win over ten-man Afghan FC in Lahore.

Neither team managed to score in the first half and a red card was given to Afghan FC midfielder Wali Muhammadan in the 33rd minute. The lone goal of the match came in the 69th minute through Zulfiqar Shah as Afghan FC’s manager was banned from the touchline for shouting at the officials.

Meanwhile, Habib Bank Limited beat Young Blood FC 2-0. Pakistan Army overcame Karachi Port Trust 4-0.
