Close call: Student evades kidnap attempt

SAMBRIAL: A kidnap attempt was foiled when a class nine student started screaming on being dragged by an unidentified man here on Monday. The suspect fled the scene. Police said the child, student at Government High School Bhopala village, had raised a hue and cry when a man tried to force him to go with him. Some passers-by ran to rescue the boy, who had by them managed to free himself from the suspect. The suspect fled the scene.
