The delegates have started arriving in the Lahore for the second two-day international conference on Urdu. The conference titled “The Solvable Problems of Urdu and the New Generation” has been organised by the Express Media Group.


A four-member delegation from India arrived on Wednesday night. This delegation includes renowned writers – Shamim Hanfi, Khushbir Singh Shad, Zubair Rizvi and Mehmudul Islam – from the literary world of India.


The conference will be held at Avari Hotel on Oct 12-13. Urdu poets, authors and researchers from across the world will participate in the conference.
