Elections: Rigging records broken in Kasur

Twelve bags in different polling stations were filled with trash instead of election documents.

LAHORE: PPP leader Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has claimed record breaking rigging took place in NA-139 Kasur elections. Ahsan said the returning officer destroyed the form for authenticating the casted votes and concluded an assumption based result. Twelve bags in different polling stations were filled with trash instead of election documents and in 103 polling stations electoral list of NADRA with thumb impressions were absent, he said. He said that the party respects Fakharuddin G Ebrahim, but when only one person is honest and the rest of the machinery is corrupt the public can’t expect a transparent election and results. He demanded of the  judiciary to take a suo motu action on the issue.
