Accident: Two trucks gutted in fire

KARACHI: At least two vehicles were completely burnt down when a fire broke out on Khalid Bin Waleed Road within the limits of Ferozabad police station on Tuesday. Police officials ruled out the possibility that this was an act of terrorism and said that it was just an accident. The two trucks were parked at a garbage dump on an empty plot on Khalid Bin Waleed Road. "There was a fire at the garbage dump, which set the trucks on fire," said SHO Aurangzeb Khattak. "When the fire spread, each of the tyres burst with loud bangs." Fire fighters reached the site and managed to put it out. SHO Khattak said that no case was registered as it was an accident.
