Animal competition: 1,870 kg bull takes first prize.
FAISALABAD:
A number of goats, rams and bulls competed for cash prizes at the 15th All Pakistan Animal Beauty Contest held here at the Standard Ground, Jinnah Colony on Friday.
A bull weighing 1,870kg, owned by Chaudhry Owais Gujjar from Faisalabad, won the first prize. The best goat award went to Atif Gujjar’s goat that weighed 278.6 kg. In rams competition, Chaudhary Imtiaz Rabbani Billo took the first prize for his ram that weighed 266.2 kg.
Chaudhary Ata Muhammad Gujjar, the organiser of the competition, announced that the 16th All Pakistan Animal Beauty Competition would be held on September 26, 2014.
University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Vice Chancellor Iqrar Ahmad Khan, former member of Punjab assembly Khawaja Muhammad Islam, MPA Chaudhry Faqeer Hussain Dogar, Member of National Assembly Nisar Ahmad Chaudhry and Member of Punjab Assembly Hajji Khalid Saeed were present on the occasion.
