Crackdown: Police arrest gang suspected of cattle, car theft

Samma satta police on Saturday arrested three people suspected of stealing cars and cattle and recovered five cars from them.


Speaking at a press conference, Bahawalpur DPO Sohail Habib Tajik said a police team comprising Samam Satta SHO Pervez Iqbal Bajwa, ASI Abdul Manan and Saddar DSP Raja Ghulam Abbas arrested the gang.

He said the police had arrested Muhammad Pervez, Muhammad Sajjad and Ghulam Fareed and were looking for other members of the gang. He said Pervez, the gang leader, was suspected of stealing cars and using them to transport stolen cattle.

He said the arrested suspects had confessed to stealing 23 cattle.

The DPO said 21 cases had been registered in Yazman Saddar against them, 11 in Yazman City, four in Head Rajkaan, one in Laar and four in Samma Satta. The DPO said Samma Satta police had also arrested one Shamoo Laal and seized 200 bottles of liquor from him.

muslims have been stealing cattle from hindus since ages. and shamelessly they call it war booty.
