Arrangements: Eidul Azha security reviewed

Police and district government have been issued a notice to make an action plan for security.

SARGODHA:


The Sargodha commissioner on Thursday directed the tehsil municipal administrations to ensure adequate security arrangements and cleanliness during Eidul Azha.


The meeting was told that in Sargodha district, three areas had been placed in category A (most sensitive), four in category B (sensitive) and 865 in category C (normal).

In Khushaab, there is one category A area, five category B areas and 1,031 category C areas.

In Mianwali, 38 areas have been placed in category A, 38 in B and 284 in C. In Bhakkar, 37 areas fall in category A, 67 in category B and 217 in C.

Ten sweeping teams have been constituted for Sargodha district, three for Khushaab, five for Mianwali and five for Bhakkar. Two walk-through gates would be provided for Sargodha and one each to other districts. Four trained dogs will also be provided to Sargodha, one to Mianwali and one to Bhakkar.

Police and district government have been issued a notice to make an action plan for security. The commissioner urged that all law enforcement agencies should work as a team to provide security to the people.
