SUKKUR:
Two students of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Sukkur, have reportedly been kidnapped on Wednesday night. The two students, Zubair Shahzab Arain - a resident of Lodra, Punjab - and Abdul Samad Malik - a resident of Multan - had decided to go to their hostel in Sindhi Society on their own instead of waiting for the point bus. According to sources, the students were standing outside the institute when they stopped a car going towards Sukkur. Both the students boarded the car and since then they are missing. IBA director Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui denied the kidnapping. He insisted that most students were going home for a day or two since exams ended on Tuesday. The hostels on campus are packed to full, Siddiqui said, explaining that the university has rented out bungalows in Sindhi Society and are using those as hostels. SSP Sukkur Syed Fida Hussain Shah was unavailable for comments.
