Economic policy: PTI condemns ‘economic terrorism’

The PTI leaders said they would protest against the price hike.

LAHORE: PTI President Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry, General Secretary Yasmin Rashid and Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas on Monday blamed the government’s economic policies for rising inflation. The PTI leaders said they would protest against the price hike. A statement issued here said the government was draining the common man financially by increasing the prices of petrol, gas and electricity every two weeks.  “The Rs5.98 per unit raise is a huge leap in the price of electricity,” the statement read.
