Panic ensues: ‘Body spray’ explodes near private school

The explosion took place near a school in Muhalla Kamora Lane in Civil lines police limits, Jacobabad.

SUKKUR: On Monday morning, a low-intensity explosion took place near a private school in Muhalla Kamora Lane in Civil lines police limits, Jacobabad. Later, the authorities learned that a bottle of body spray had exploded in burning garbage. The bottle was kept in a garbage dump outside Gadai Public School. When it went off, residents started panicking but no loss of lives was reported. Upon receiving this information, Civil Lines police reached the spot and removed the bomb pieces. The sub-inspector of bomb disposal squad, Shikarpur, Irshad Soomro, said it was not a bomb, but an empty bottle of aluminum body spray that someone had thrown in burning garbage.
