ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OPHRD) Pir Sadruddin Shah Rashidi, presiding over a meeting of the Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association (POEPA) said that a new strategy is being devised to export Pakistani work force to potential countries so that foreign remittances could be maximised. He said that selected delegations will be sent to various countries to explore more avenues for job opportunities abroad. The delegations will visit Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. Rashidi urged more joint efforts by the private and public sector to maximise the export of manpower as reduction in unemployment is the one of the top priorities of the present government. The OEPs were also asked to consider possibility of establishing training centres to prepare a skilled work force.
