Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said that whoever carried out Sunday's attack on the All Saints Church in Peshawar, wanted to adversely affect the resolution that was unanimously agreed upon at the end of the All Parties' Conference (APC).
Over 80 people were killed and 150 others injured in the twin suicide bombing that took place outside the All Saints church after Sunday mass came to an end. The bombing is believed to be the country’s deadliest attack on Christians.
He said that all political and religious parties who attended the conference were united on the idea that the war on terror is not Pakistan's to fight.
Terming the church attack "a well thought-out conspiracy," he called for an independent commission to be formed at the Supreme Court-level to investigate who was behind it.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan had condemned the people who he said were "painting the attack in a political light".
Pointing towards a possible conspiracy, he questioned why attacks like the one on the church occur whenever talk of dialogue progresses.
"These terrorists cannot be termed humans" Imran had said.

Silly me. Here i Was thinking whoever attacked the Church wanted to kill Christians. No condemnation for the killers just regret that it has put the 'peace talks' under a scanner.
Why does ET feel the need to add this sentence to every article it publishes? "The PTI-led K-P government has come under heavy criticism for its inability to deliver on its election slogan of change in the province."
Militants are clueless whom they are fighting against is an irresponsible statement indirectly giving them in a clean chit as clueless or lunatics can be pardoned in a court of law. But what Maulana is forgetting that these clueless lunatics have killed more than 45000 people including military personnel in Pakistan and continuing their barbarities till date but govt of Pakistan has decided to hold talks with them despite knowing their mental state. Moreover, he himself has offered his services as leader of the delegation for these talks. What is going on in Pakistan ?
Terming the church attack “a well thought-out conspiracy,” . Classic Pakistan. When are you going to stand tall and take a hard look in the mirror? These savages are called terrorist for a reason and blaming India, USA, Israel or the boogeyman is pure rubbish.
Here we go again. Parsing terrorists into good and bad .
