DC, Mukhtiarkar in hot water for non-compliance of court orders

KARACHI:

A Senior Civil Judge in Malir has directed action against the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Malir and the Mukhtiarkar of Murad Memon Goth for failing to comply with court orders.

In a letter addressed to the chief secretary, the court termed the conduct of the concerned officers as maladministration and a blatant violation of judicial directives. According to the letter, the Senior Civil Judge Malir had earlier issued a judgment directing that the court's decision and decree be implemented.

However, despite repeated instructions, Mukhtiarkar Murad Memon Goth Riaz Ahmed Magheri and Deputy Commissioner Malir Samiullah Sheikh failed to comply with the court orders and allegedly delayed implementation.
