Eight new SHOs at capital’s police stations

The Islamabad Police transferred and posted eight station house officers in the federal capital on Wednesday.


Inspector Altaf Aziz Khattak has been made the station house officer (SHO) of Margalla Police Station, according to police sources. He was previously the Security Branch in-charge.

Khattak would be replacing Inspector Rukhsar Mehdi, who has been made in-charge of the Anti-Car Lifting Cell. Mehdi served as Margalla SHO for a brief period from July 31.

Inspector Haq Nawaz Ranjha has been made Shalimar Police SHO, vacating his position at the Senior Superintendent of Police Office.

Mian Ashraf has been made the Ramna SHO from his former position as Tarnol SHO.

Moreover, Inspectors Abdul Rehman and Mehboob Ahmed were posted as the SHOs of Secretariat and Sihala police stations respectively.

Inspector Mustafa Kayani and Inspector Tanveer Abbasi have been made the additional SHOs of Secretariat and Kohsar police stations. Kayani has also been given the charge of Red Zone in-charge.
