MURREE: Police took 14 alleged target killers into custody during a targeted operation in Murree on Wednesday, Express News reported.

The operation was carried out by the Punjab Police and Elite forces and took place at around 12:30pm on Mall Road.

These targeted killers reportedly originate from Karachi and had taken refuge in Murree from the targeted operations being carried out in the city.

Targeted operations in Karachi began on September 5, and since then more than 300 suspects have been arrested.

The Rangers are leading the operation which, they claim, is being conducted across the city.

Separately, the police have conducted 975 raids and arrested 1,232 criminals.

All these criminals belong to political parties and will get preferential treatment for PML(N) to secure support of their parties
