Changes galore: Eleven officers transferred

Zubair Shaikh, formerly Central Investigation Agency (CIA) DSP, was transferred to the Crime Investigation Department.

ISLAMABAD:


The Islamabad Police transferred 11 officers on Tuesday, the IGP’s office announced. Most officers were sub-divisional police officers (SDPOs) and deputy superintendents of police (DSPs).


Rizwan Gondal was transferred from City SDPO to Margalla SDPO. Yasir Afridi was posted as the new City SDPO and Irum Abbasi was made Secretariat SDPO.


Zubair Shaikh, formerly Central Investigation Agency (CIA) DSP, was transferred to the Crime Investigation Department.


Bashir Noon will be the new CIA DSP. Noon’s old post of Shahzad Town SDPO will be filled by Rana Tahir, the former Ramna SDPO.


Shakir Ahmad, Amir Mehmood and Zahida Bukhari were made Industrial Area SDPO, Rural SDPO and Women SDPO.


Safeer Hussain and Fida Satti switched jobs. Hussain is the new Bani Gala SDPO and Satti in now Prime Minister House DSP.
