Non-Compliance: Education officer’s salary stopped

FAISALABAD: A civil court on Friday ordered to stop EDO (Education) Parvaiz Akhtar’s salary over his failure to comply with court orders. Shaukat Ali, a retired watchman at Islamia High School in Ghulam Muhammadabad, had filed a petition in the court seeking recovery of his arrears. The court had summoned the EDO several times but he did not comply with the orders. On Friday, the judge ordered that Ali’s salary be stopped until further order. The judge also ordered that the EDO should ensure his presence at the next hearing and submit surety bonds of Rs50,000.
