LAHORE:

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf will stage protests across the province on Friday to condemn the increase in petroleum and food prices as well as power outages.

PTI protest camps will be set up in each district after Friday prayers, said PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary and General Secretary Dr Yasmin Rahid in a statement.

They said that their protest would continue till the government reverses its decision to raise prices. They said that the increase in wheat and flour prices would hurt the common man.

The high rate of inflation in the country was killing people and the government had failed to take any practical steps to control it, they added.
