Five people kidnapped for ransom from Mera Mashokel area

They were travelling from Quetta to Peshawar, their vehicle was also taken.

PESHAWAR: Five people were kidnapped for ransom along with their vehicle from the Mera Mashokhel area on the outskirts of the city on Friday.

The five friends, identified as Asmatullah, Abdullah, Muhammad Saeed, Akhatar and Abdul Qayum were travelling from Quetta to Peshawar in their GLI vehicle. They were kidnapped and shifted to Khyber Agency by the kidnappers.

Badhaber police registered an FIR in the case on the complaint of Muhammad Asif and started investigation in the case.

This is the second incident this week in which people have been kidnapped along with their vehicle. Earlier, four people including a moharar of Khasadar Force Saeed Muhammad was kidnapped from Hayatabad Phase 3. Their vehicle was found abandoned in Shah Kas Khyber Agency.
