@ Sadaf kindly contact me, the media is circulating this fake news about my grandfather who actually died of an heart attack, but the ruthlessness of these people that they keep making fun of peoples misery through such reporting. The news kept circulating in my family through out the burial process, and the torment it caused, all the credit goes to the wretched media. I demand Tribune to post a retraction of this sham news and apologize.
Pakistanis seem to have lost the ability of winning, having perfected the art of losing... They simply roll over and drop dead, if they win accidently.
This poor man couldn't even die a respectful death. The least they could have done was post a honest report on how he actually died. He had to die in the midst of a room full of strangers.
@Sohaib Hassan: I am not a resident in Pakistan. I am leaving this week and I don't know the procedure to submit a complaint against the bank over here.
@Lt Col Imtiaz Alam(retd): I am not sure of the exact address but it is the National Savings bank in Rawalpindi.
Very Sad.
@Sadaf: If your statement is correct then give us detail of the bank plus have you submitted any complaint against administration for that poor environment.
@Sadaf: Please give details of the Bank.
@Zohair: I fully agree with you. We should say a prayer instead for the departed soul.
@ All,
Just imagine the level of excitement he got in 60 years of his life. Many promises made and broken in his family due to lack of that much little money which is usually a trip to USA or EU of one month for any medium scale business owner in Pakistan.
“Death by Prize Bond” Suppose the poor fellow was your loved one!
"Death by prize bond"?? Is this supposed to be funny?
poor guy, couldn't enjoy the winning
"Death by Prize Bond"? a very insensitive thing to provide comic relief to ur readers on someone's death.
