Toxic Liquor Tragedy: Woman among two suspects sent to jail

KARACHI: Two suspects, including a woman, were sent to jail for their alleged involvement in preparing toxic liquor, which had claimed more than 13 lives in the city on the third day of Eid. The judicial magistrate, South, Mumtaz Ali Solangi, also directed the investigations officer to submit a charge sheet against the suspects, Naghma and Dilbar Hussain, on August 26. The police accused them of being involved in preparing and selling liquor, and further requested for their physical custody to complete the investigations.
